Another
reason for Merkel, Schäuble and the Brussels bureaufascists to
rejoice

Through an
article at the Spanish newspaper El Pais, the radical part of Podemos
in Spain declares full support to the Popular Unity, the new political formation in Greece that came
from the split of SYRIZA. It is worth to note that its executives
criticize the stance of Podemos leader, Pablo Iglesias, to support
Alexis Tsipras, even after his surrender to the representatives of
the European Financial Dictatorship.
Key parts
from the Iskra.gr
website which reflects Popular Unity positions:
The
anti-capitalist Left, the party that has been self-dissolved to join
Podemos in which the leading Andalusian Teresa Rodríguez and MEP
Miguel Urbán participate, is aligned with the radicals that left
SYRIZA, opposing Alexis Tsipras and the Podemos leadership which
insists on the unconditional support of the Greek prime minister. The
spokesman of the anti-capitalist Left, Raúl Camargo, MP with Podemos
in the Madrid Parliament , addressed a call on Saturday in the last
session of the summer university to 'defend the Popular Unity, the
party that was cut off from SYRIZA' against Tsipras who ended
claiming that 'no se puede' (it's not possible). This stream of
Podemos calls for return to an electoral program as that of the
European elections, more democracy in the party and considers that it
is clear that 'by no means will form a coalition with PSOE' (Social
Democrats).
As Camargo
stated:
Despite the
fact that he [Tsipras] intended to fight, he ended saying that it
can't be done. And we think that it was not inevitable, it was not
the only option. We must defend the world of SYRIZA who still argues
that there is an alternative, that we can cancel the memoranda of
understanding, that we can fight against the dictates of the Troika
and that in this historical moment we will continue to have our
organizations that will defend the position that we can break the
shackles of austerity.
Doubts and
fears may be reasonable, but when there's a popular mandate, you must
fulfill it to the end.
Now, the big
distinction is between, on the one hand, those who apply the policies
of austerity made by the Troika, those who say that even if we do not
like to apply them because the consequences will be worse, and on the
other, those who rebel and say: no, there is another alternative. But
you must have the courage and say that yes, we can.
'We must
defend the Popular Unity,' . However, the leadership of Podemos,
defended Tsipras' choices, even after the acceptance of the third
loan agreement, despite the fact that it was rejected by the Greek
citizens in a referendum.
It seems
that SYRIZA's split sends turbulence waves to the European Left.
There are also some signals from Germany and Die Linke, according to
which, there is a debate between top party members on whether it is
useful for the Left to insist on the euro-currency unconditionally.
Apparently,
the moderate of the European Left still believe that there is a
chance for a significant change in Europe through the transformation
of the political power balance inside the euro-prison. One the other
hand, the radicals obviously don't believe in euro "at any
cost", and set as absolute priority the termination of the
neoliberal catastrophic policies in Europe.
In any case,
the German leadership and the Brussels bureaufascists, have another
reason to rejoice, as it seems that they achieved a double hit
against the European Left through their planning
which appears to be going well so far.
A lot will
be determined from the elections in Greece, Spain and Portugal and
whether people will dare to eliminate the old political system which
paved the way for this Feudal Europe
all the previous years.
